Our Story

Hoppers started out of the famous horse box outside Bank station where we built a loyal following of customers and city commuters. We then moved to a more permanent location in Clapham North where we became household name 'Bean About Town'. In our Clapham home, the team quickly built a local following who you can see queuing down the road most days. And we believe there is a reason for the queue, our coffee is the best this side of Italy. 

 

The business has grown and is now named Hopper Coffee House, which has branched out to two more locations; one in Balham and another in Wandsworth. From the three locations, Hopper Coffee House is able to bring more fabulous coffee to even more people. Though we’ve grown since those first days in Bank, we’ve kept the same ethos: our customers always come first, the coffee is always excellent... and you can still find our signature horsebox outside Clapham North Station.
